Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
The short version
You're agreeing to use RocketBid as intended — to run your auction business. We'll keep the platform running and support you. We're not responsible for how your auctions perform. That's it in plain terms. The rest fills in the details.
Who these terms apply to
These Terms of Service govern your use of the RocketBid platform and website, operated by 17560290 Canada Ltd. ("RocketBid", "we", or "us"), a company incorporated under the Canada Business Corporations Act and based in Nova Scotia, Canada. By accessing or using RocketBid, you agree to these terms.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at info@rocketbid.io. You must be authorized to enter into this agreement on behalf of your business.
What RocketBid provides
RocketBid provides a white-label auction management platform including tools for inventory management, online and live auctions, consignor management, bidder management, payment processing integrations, and shipping integrations. The specific features available to you depend on your subscription plan.
Subscription and payment
RocketBid is offered on a subscription basis. Your subscription begins on the date you sign up and renews monthly unless cancelled. Fees are charged at the beginning of each billing period. All fees are in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to update pricing with 30 days notice.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at info@rocketbid.io. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months.
Your content and data
You own your data — your bidder lists, inventory, consignor records, and auction history. RocketBid does not claim ownership over any content you upload or create on the platform. You grant us permission to store and process your data as needed to provide the service. When you cancel, we will provide a reasonable period to export your data before it is removed from our systems.
Your bidders
Your bidder list belongs to you. RocketBid does not use your bidder data for its own marketing purposes, share it with other auction houses, or retain it after your account is closed, subject to applicable legal requirements.
Acceptable use
You agree to use RocketBid only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not use the platform to conduct fraudulent auctions, misrepresent items, harass bidders, or violate any applicable law. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Uptime and service availability
We make reasonable efforts to keep the platform available and operational. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses resulting from service outages or interruptions beyond our control.
Limitation of liability
RocketBid is not responsible for the outcome of your auctions, disputes between you and your bidders or consignors, or losses resulting from your use of the platform. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of RocketBid will not exceed the fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. For significant changes, we'll notify active subscribers by email.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
